/ / / / / /

Calling all aspiring dancers, performers and Pantomime enthusiasts, Now is the time to speak up as we open our Dance Auditions to all students of South Wales!

On their voyage across South Wales, local, family run Production Company will be stopping off at four South Wales theatre venues where they will be stunning audiences with their utterly Brilliant and of course British, Dick Whittington Pantomime.

Jermin Productions will be paving the streets of South Wales with GOLD in true theatrical style as Dick and his cat arrive at a theatre near you along with all of his pantomime friends ready to meet you this Christmas and New Year. This winter there are a range of discounted tickets and group offers to be claimed along with the very exciting opportunity for a number of local dancers to appear in the production alongside a cast filled with professional performers.

That’s right! Jermin Productions are offering YOU the chance to be apart of this year’s Pantomime and will be holding open auditions for all aspiring performers who would like to experience the excitement and preparation that goes into a full scale, touring Pantomime production.

Auditions will be held by West End Performer and Co Director Nia Jermin who is hoping to find ‘Characterful and Expressive performers with a good eye for picking up routines and executing them with style and performance’. Overseeing the workshop will also be Mark Jermin who runs over 14 Stage School branches in Wales and England as well as running an actor’s agency for both children and adults.

This year Jermin Productions will be holding three separate audition workshops from which they will cast one team of senior performers and four teams of juvenile performers. Auditions will take place on:

Monday 5th September at The Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot (JUVENILE DANCERS)

Monday 12th September at The Unitarian Church, Swansea High Street (SENIOR DANCERS)

Monday 26th September at Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon (JUVENILE DANCERS)

All three audition workshops will take place between 4:30pm and 7pm (With registration taking place from 4pm).

The audition will consist of a fun workshop session which will see each applicant learn a dance routine in the style of this year’s Pantomime and then perform the routine in smaller groups for the Jermin Productions team.

All potential applicants must express their interest to the JP Team prior to the auditions to receive their ‘Welcome Pack’ which contains additional information and requirements for the audition day. Any additional questions or queries can also be directed to the email below and we will reply at our soonest convenient time.

Both Mark and Nia Jermin are excited to meet young, talented performers from each theatre venue and would like to welcome all aspiring performers who would love the opportunity to work alongside a professional company this Christmas or New Year.
