It would be a “Cin” to miss Cinders this Christmas as it travels across South Wales by pumpkin!

This Christmas, local Pantomime Company Jermin Productions will be travelling to three South Wales venues by magical coach to produce their seventh annual Pantomime, the classic tale Cinderella proudly sponsored by Admiral.

Yes we know, its only August, but there is one C word on the lips of one particular South Wales company, who are bursting to tell all about their plans! And no, they don’t mean the Tinsel-tastic, fairy light fuelled festive time of Christ…. Don’t say it! But for local events and Pantomime company Jermin Productions,  their 2019 title of CINDERELLA and panto plans are in full swing as this year’s magical Pantomime Cinderella launches this week with a special reveal of this year’s multi talented cast who are going to be arriving (by Pumpkin carriage of course!) on a stage near you!

The clock striking 12, the pumpkin transformation and the iconic glass slipper has played a part in all of our childhood memories as Cinderella quickly become one of the most popular and classic tales of all time. Revamped in 2013 by Disney, this popular tale saw Lily James don that famous blue ball gown which had every little girl dreaming of becoming a real life Princess.

As well as having a place in many children’s hearts, this tale of true love holds great sentiment for one Swansea Production Company. 2013 saw the arrival of a brand new events and production company in the form of Jermin Productions, run by brother and sister duo Mark and Nia Jermin. This local and passionate, family-run company regenerated a Penyrheol Theatre venue and saw the humble beginnings of what is now a dynamic, innovative and thriving special events and theatre company called Jermin Productions. When this local brother and sister decided to jump into the world of Pantomime with both feet, they chose the tale of Cinderella to mark on South Wales. Little did they know that seven years on they would be revisiting that very title but this time touring the tale to three South Wales venues with a cast of over 100 performers and technical crew, a full-scale set and over 20,000 audience members sitting down to enjoy their work.

The beautiful rags to riches tale of Cinderella will be dazzling audiences all across South Wales with it’s lavish design, jam-packed script and first class cast who will be transporting the audience to the spell-binding world of Pantomime. This astounding performance will display heaps of audience interaction as characters present an all-singing, all-dancing Pantomime overflowing with slapstick silliness and Christmas spirit. Join Cinders this Christmas on her journey to find true love and for those who are feeling as naughty as Cinderella’s Ugly sisters, you can attend the Adults Only ‘Sinderella’ Pantomime performances – for a real raucous Christmas night out of comedy and fun!

This Christmas Jermin Productions’ Cinderella Pantomime will be stopping off in Port Talbot’s Princess Royal Theatre, Carmarthen’s Lyric Theatre and Llanelli’s Ffwrnes Theatre and will be inviting audiences to attend their live performances between 29th November and 24th December. Jermin Productions are extremely proud to announce that they will once again be working alongside headline sponsor Admiral which will be collaborating with the cast and creative team every step of the way. Admiral first supported the local Pantomime company in 2016 and have encouraged and collaborated with Jermin Productions’ Pantomimes ever since. Tickets are now on sale for this year’s crystal slipper Pantomime spectacular at all three venues. Read on to hear more about this year’s Cinderella cast!

Mark Jermin, Co-Director of Jermin Productions is delighted to revisit the title of Cinderella and feels it marks a very special time for the company and it’s achievements.

“This year is an incredibly special time for our company as we will be revisiting our first ever Pantomime title which has made us all realise how far the company has come and also how much each Pantomime production has grown over the years.”

“The Company has had a very busy year after co-producing Swansea Pride 2019 and hosting week long entertainment programme filled with events, celebrations and parades. In addition to the production company, 2019 has seen great growth in our Theatre Schools as well as a number of top clients securing movie roles with Disney’s Aladdin and the Elton John movie ‘Rocketman’. We are looking forward to working with more creative performers this Christmas”
