Spooks In Swansea City 2018: Day of the Dead!
Spooks in the City returned to Swansea’s City Centre on Saturday 27th October 2018 for a spectacular Halloween celebration, Day of the Dead!
Jermin Productions returned to Swansea City Centre on Saturday 27th October to produce our SIXTH Halloween event in collaboration with Swansea City Council. This year’s theme celebrated everything Mexican and transported Swansea residents to scenes similar to that of Disney’s CoCo movie!
Swansea’s Castle Square was transformed with Mexican decorations, bunting, flower garlands and those famous sugar skull images! Other activities included themed circus skill workshops and displays, face painting, comedic tarot card readings, dead still challenge, skull scavenger hunt and Swansea’s biggest Mexican wave!
Audience members also got to step up on to the main stage for interactive games and actives before adults also got to try their hand at the hottest chilli tasting and limbo contest.
Cocina Mexican Restaurant will also be there, providing free tasters, free meal for two vouchers and a competition prize too!
Our 2018 Halloween event was finished off by a live outdoor cinema experiencing featuring Disney’s CoCo film, perfectly tying in with the themed event!
